A5 Boys 14-Lorri Qualifies for Nationals in 14 Open Division
These guys just keep winning. Riding a two-for-two wave in 2017 Tournament Championships, A5 14-Lorri entered the Boys Bid Tournament in Florida seeded third of thirteen entrants. They won their pool without dropping a set to enter the Championship bracket 4 - 0. Second seeded Florida Mojo rolled into bracket play undefeated as well. 14-Lorri earned the right to play for a Bid by beating Axis Elite in bracket play 25-20; 25-14.

I wish I could have seen that semifinal match. Win it and finish no worse than 2nd place, guaranteeing one of the two Open bids at stake. There is no way to replicate in practice the pressure of playing a match with a bid to nationals on the line. Some teams fold in the moment, but Champions find a way to rise to the occasion. 14-Lorri was actually outscored in the pivotal match 63-65, but hung tough to win the third-set barn-burner 20-18 for the win and the Bid.
